Mota looking for repeat performanceCoach feels upbeat heading to Dragao One of last season's surprise teams, Leixoes, marched into the Estadio do Dragao and pulled off a major upset when they handed FC Porto a 3-2 loss. The two teams will face one another tonight and Jose Mota doesn't see why his side cannot do the same as they did last year.
The Leixoes boss understands that the two teams are in different positions this season than last, but feels that there is no reason why his squad will not be able produce last season's feat. The Matoshinos have only collected two points this season, while FC Porto are faring much better having earned two consectuve victories after their season opening draw to Pacos de Ferreira. "In terms of the equivalents, they are now different," said Mota. "At that time there was a gap in terms of points, but at this point the conjecture is completely different. In any case, we have to be optimistic."
