ok so they talk but nothing was mentioned about helping porto win games. If pinto did pay refs hes really smart... its business and no one has legitimate proof of him doing it so they cant say he did it 100%. Basically, Pinto isnt an idiot like vieira and covers up.
Did we win 15 years by cheating? probably not... have we ever cheated? no one knows for sure because pinto is that good!

When was the last time Benfica were the victims of a bad call? Seriously! It is absolutely amazing to me that whenever a bad call is made, it coincidentally goes in Benfica's favor this season. I am absolutely tired of watching valid goals get erased for bullshyt offsides (always seems to be Benfica's opponent getting the goals invalidated)... oh and my absolute "trend of the year" has to be these curious penalty kicks Benfica gets awarded somewhere between the 85th minute and the end of stoppage time... how many times has that happened this year (graca a Deus that Cardoza has a peg leg!)? Oh, and lets not forget... how many times has Benfica played with a man advantage (as opposed to being down a man) when an opponent gets red carded off this season? Honestly, it is becoming a joke to watch these Benfica liga matches! Case in point... against Setubal Fabio Coentrao violently SHOVED (right in from of the ref) the Setubal player after the referee called a foul on Di Maria. No doubt in my mind that anyone else in the liga would have seen a straight red... except for the players on the equipa encarnada... they get nothing! Coentrao didn't even get a yellow! Now, am I a Portista - yes I am... but a fact is a fact... Benfica have been curiously "lucky" with all the bad calls somehow going in their favor this season.

Now, if you want to talk about FCP corruption in past seasons... all I can say is:7 ligas, 1 UEFA Cup and 1 Champions League... deal with it!

I personally have nothing against FC Porto, but Pinto da Costa is an embarrassment to his supporters and Portugal.

Again like i always say im neutral i love the league in general, every point you porto supporters throw out there is just done, fine the seasons not over, who said it was? maybe you will win it, but at the moment you dont deserve it BENFICA ARE BETTER THAN YOU! GET OVER IT! your team needs to continue to improve to win this championship.

Benfica robbed this game so badly that they are in denial. Its in there faces that setubal should have won 2-1... to make themselves feel better they tell themselves that there should have been 3 penalty calls instead of one. Maybe they realize that they cant win without penalties being involved.

benfica fans want to point to porto bribing refs but porto have never gotten the blatantly bs calls that benfica get. so imagine what benfica must be up to in order to get those.


and you can be happy that your in first place right now but they don't give out championships after 19 games, the season is far from over. and the only reason they're in first is because they have 2 more games played than braga, which is the real leader right now.

Comments about setubal dominating the game? Benfica is the team in the red shirts with the eagle. The funnest comments are on bribing refs from Porto fans when all these new videos are out showing Porto bribing the league and refs.

Remember people in porto cheer for porto, people in Portugal cheer for Benfica! SLB!

He didn't call two other penalties for Benfica in that game. Anyways the only team that has a proven history of paying off refs (on video HA!) is Porto. Benfica is still doing very well with 40 goal difference vs. Porto's 21. I can't wait for when the two meet. Last time Benfica schooled them with their B squad. I can't wait to see the scoreline with the main team.

Benfica nearly got away with a robbery! Luckily fate would have it that Cardozo couldn't close the deal. Well done Setubal, if they didn't steal your second goal you'd have come away with 3 points.

benfiquistas talk about pinto da costa buying referees haha. Did they see this game? Setubal was robbed a goal and should have won. The referee judged offside when there was none.
In the dying minutes a penalty was called... Whether or not it was or wasnt a penalty doesn't matter because benfica missed it.
The score should have been 2-1 in favor of setubal. Clearly the ref was blinded by his desire for benfica to win.
