Evra “not surprised” by Nani formWinger continues to impress Manchester United vice-captain Patrice Evra is pleased for Nani after the Portuguese winger’s recent run of form, but is not surprised to see his team-mate earning the plaudits.
Nani has now started United’s last four matches, with the most recent coming in yesterday’s 5-0 victory over Portsmouth at Old Trafford. The former Sporting man has drawn widespread media praise in England for his performances during the last fortnight, not least from manager Alex Ferguson, and Evra believes Nani is merely showing what he has always been capable of. “Everyone knows the talent Nani has got,” the Frenchman told MUTV. “This is why I think sometimes the fans were a little frustrated, because they knew Nani was good. But he had to be given time to show his strengths. “Now I think he has played a few games in a row at his level. But I am not surprised, I am happy for him but I’m not surprised because I know the quality he has. This is why I don’t say “well done” to him after every game, I tell him it’s normal and he needs to keep going and doing that. Evra's observations are spot on. Nani would play 1 hell of a blinder and then bottle it the next 3 or 4 games but now he's, finally producing some magic consistently. Thank God. Long it may continue.

Nani is a great player one of portugals best and he's in great form right now hopefully he can carry this form right into South Africa and help the national team go far in world cup . he's truly a special player .
