I understand the goalie slipped, but the shot is still impressive. He scored on the fly, meaning there was no bounce. In addition, most players attempting a shot at that distance, will usually miss to the left, right, or just end up short. Something has to be said for that ball going in, the way it did. I agree with prior comments, if it had been Messi or Ronaldo, it would get goal of the year contention.
About Viana on the NT, I agree. Micael, Santos, Martins, are currently in worse form than Viana. Frankly I think Braga's duo of Custodio and Viana are worthy of the NT bench. Moutinho, Miereles, and Veloso are probably the starters.
