Euro 2012 draw: Portugal face Denmark again
Norway, Cyprus and Iceland make up Group H
The draw for the qualifying phase of Euro 2012 took place this afternoon, and pitted Portugal against a familiar foe. Carlos Queiroz’s men will again face Denmark, who got the better of the Seleccao in the recent World Cup qualifying campaign.
The rest of Group H is made up of Norway, Cyprus and Iceland. Only the winners of each of the nine groups and the best second-placed team will qualify automatically for the championships which are being held in Poland and Ukraine.
The other eight group runners-up will be paired into four play-off matches to determine the final four berths. The qualification matches start in October.
Queiroz satisfied
Carlos Queiroz was satisfied with the outcome of the draw. “It’s a good group for us, with different styles of football. It’s a group that will produce exciting games, and in which we have a good chance,” said the Portugal coach.
“We have to prepare well, as always, but I believe that at the end we will qualify for the finals of the Euro. As we have a five-team group we will also have the opportunity to use some free dates to train and work on our game which is a positive aspect.”

If Portugal could throw away a 2-0 lead then.....they can do it again.
With this draw, the only way we miss out on Euro 2012 is if we play absolutely terrible in all aspects of the game. In that case, we wouldn't deserve to be there.
After the brutal world cup draw, this looks very nice!
Norway = Be careful
Cyprus = 6 points
Iceland= Unpredictable
Vamos começar a vingança sobre o dinamarquês
Forca Sempre Portugal!!
