Lucas itching to get goingStriker still some way from full fitness Naval's Lucas is getting rather anxious as the Brazilian striker wants to hit the pitch immediatley, but knows that he needs a little more time to get into game shape.
The 20-year-old marksman who joined the club in the off-season is not yet match fit, but is working hard to get myself in tip-top shape so that when called upon, he will be ready to give his all. "If it were up to me, I would be selected for the next match (away to Academica)," said the former Vitoria Guimaraes player jokingly. "I know that physically I am far from my best and the coach knows perfectly when a player is fully prepared and ready for competition." "All I have to do is work hard and prepare myself in the best manner posisble so when I get an opportunity I can answer the call." "I am ambitious and intend to reach the highest level possible. I've already been in the top flight when I was a junior, but I didn't play much.
