Naval hope to prolong Braga's agonyZvunka hoping for a good result away Naval are currently sitting in the tables with four points to their name and coach Victor Zvunka would like to see his team add to their tally when they face Sporting Braga this weekend.
The navalistas will want to take full advantage of Braga's bad spell as the new Liga darlings have slipped up as of late, suffering two defeats (FC Porto and Arsenal) and coughed up a two-goal lead against Pacos de Ferreira this past weekend - settling for a draw. In this fixture last season, Naval earned a goalless draw and for Zvunka, even a point would not be a bad result for a team that is looking to string together positive outcomes. "Clearly, we would like to repeat the result from last year," admitted the Frenchman. "I was happy with the team against Vitoria de Setubal (0-0) - we just failed with our finishing. We will improve, but in their (Braga's) stadium it won't be easy." "I have watched various matches of theirs and I think we can cause them some problems, and bring back a good result. Repeating the result from a year ago will not be bad." "If I can recreate what we did against Portimonense and in Coimbra, I think we could have a good away match. If we don't become disingenuous, create a lot of unnecessary fouls like we did against Academica, then we are capable of obtaining a good result." by Marco Pereira Add your comment |
