Naval ring the changes up frontStar man Marcelinho moves on, new striker brought in Naval’s Brazilian striker Marcelinho (pictured) has confirmed his move to the Marcelinho, a consistent goalscorer for Naval over recent seasons, has jumped at the chance of a big payday. The modest outfit are thought to have received 900,000 euros for the marksman, making him the club’s record sale.
The board have not reinvested heavily, however, bringing in another player with strong French connections. Mehdi Kerrouche is a 23-year-old Algerian and has played most of his career in the lower divisions of
Kerrouche has clocked up an impressive goal ratio of around 2 goals every 3 games in his career thus far, and will now try to keep his eye for goal at a higher level.
The strong French connection at Naval may help him settle quickly into his new surroundings. The club have nine French players in their squad.
