Olhanense was the right choice - MorettoGoalkeeper looking to relaunch career after sugery There is no doubt in his mind that he chose the perfect club, and goalkeeper Moretto is excited about getting the season underway with Algarve-based side Olhanense.
The former Benfica shot-stopper is thrilled to be back in Portugal and confesses that Olha were the most intriguing project that was put before him, hence there was no hesitation on his part to join the club. "It was an interesting invite. There were other offers, but given the club's project, I made a good choice to return to Portuguese football," admits the Brazilian. "My principal objective was to get back to playing. After I left Benfica, I required more surgery on my knee and I didn't play for another club." "Now I am totally recuperated and I want to return to competing. Portugal is a country and championship that I like a lot and I hope I can return to my best form, have a good championship and help Olhanense achieve their objectives." In other club news, Olhanese have signed ex-AIK striker Clecio and former America player Marcio Garcia both to one-year deals. by Marco Pereira
