We want revenge - HakNorth Koreans looking to get even with Portugal It has been 44 years and it still stings. North Korea have hardly forgetten about the the loss suffered at the hands of Portugal during the 1966 World Cup and the Asian side are looking for payback.
Portugal defeated North Korea 5-3 in the quarter-finals of the '66 edition of the competition with some saying that it was the greatest comeback ever seen. The North Koreans had jumped to a three-goal advantage inside of 25 minutes, only for the great Eusebio to wipe away the gigantic lead (along with Jose Augusto) and help Portugal progress to the semi-finals. Nearly half a century later, North Korea have waited for this moment for quite some time and will have the chance to settle the score when the two meet again June 21. "We are after revenge," said midfielder An Yong Hak (pictured) bluntly. "We want to avenge the result from 1966." Teammate and striker Jong Tae-se was not as fixated on Portugal, but preferred to look at the bigger picture and even went as far as making an interesting comparison. "There are very few people who are familiar with our team and the World Cup is an opportunity to show what we can do. We are like the Germans, we have the same mentality - very strong." by Marco Pereira |

I also hope that will not be injuries on this game, 'cause sometimes when a team plays excessively with the heart, the things can go out of control.
One thing is certain though, you just know Kim Jong-Il and his croonies have been busy brainwashing and probably borderline torturing these guys into shape. These guys would die for their "dear leader," that's a pretty strong X factor that needs to be taken into consideration. And who knows, Kim is so bat shit crazy that they might end up dying afterwards anyway!
