Ronaldinho again left out of Dunga’s Brazil squad
Ivory Coast set up friendly against South Korea
The chances of former World Player of the Year Ronaldinho Gaucho making it to the 2010 World Cup, where he would face Portugal, appear to be rapidly diminishing. The former Barcelona star has been left out of coach Dunga’s latest squad.
Brazil play Ireland on 2 March in London. The Brazilian coach has called up Benfica duo Luisao and Ramires, but there is no place in the squad for Ronaldinho despite his good recent club form in Italy. The AC Milan player has not been picked by Dunga since last April.
Another of Portugal’s opponents in South Africa have scheduled a friendly in the same week. The Ivory Coast will play South Korea, also in London, on 3 March at the home of Queens Park Rangers, Loftus Road.
Drogba and company will get the chance to pit their wits against a team that was cleverly chosen given that they may cause similar problems to their northern neighbours North Korea.
Portugal are in Group G along with Brazil, the Ivory Coast and North Korea.

Portugal need to get some friendly matches in there because the world cup is not too far away and the players need to get used to playing together again after qualifying. This is especially important because there are key players both coming back from injury AND out from injury (back from injury-Cristiano Ronaldo, Almeida, Mendes,Bosingwa? out from injury-Pepe)
I'd sure like to see them play a few more games against some quality opposition. Preferably, I would like to see them play teams that have qualified for the world cup.
A while back I heard maybe Uruguay but that was some time ago
