Ulisses Morais appointed Pacos de Ferreira coach

Former Naval boss takes over from Paulo Sergio

Pacos Ferreira badgeUlisses MoraisUlisses Morais has been appointed the new coach of Pacos de Ferreira. Morais replaces Paulo Sergio, who left the club earlier this week to take over at Vitoria de Guimaraes.

The 49-year-old is back in management at a top-flight club just six weeks after being sacked by Naval. Morais has signed a contract until the end of the season at the Mata Real, and will start exercising his new post on Monday.

“The image of a squad has to be desire, attitude, capacity and quality of play, which are all things I identify with and which I see at this club,” said Morais.

It is the fifth job in Morias’ coaching career, having previously managed Estoril, Gil Vicente, Maritimo and Naval. He brings assistants Marco Leite, Manuel Gomes and Rui Rodrigues with him to Pacos.
