Morais determined to break home jinx

Coach confident team will earn win against Nacional

ulisses_morais.jpgPacos de Ferreira will host Madeira's Nacional this Friday at the Mata Real and coach Ulisses Morais is certain that his side will come away with all three points.

The idealistic Morais is aware that Pacos have not won a home contest since May of last season, drawing four times and losing twice, but feels that the curse will end this Friday when the two teams open the 13th round of the Liga Sagres.

"We will end this (streak) come Friday and I am not saying this because it is easy, but the fact that it is logical," explained Morais. "Our barometer of work stems from my optimism, and for those who work hard, sooner or later, the results will come."

Morais took time to praise Nacional. He feels that the tie against the Alvinegros will be tough and that his side will have to be careful in order to get their first win on home soil this season.

"Their motivational levels are high because victories help this and, as a result, they are a mature and well-balanced team in all sectors, with various individual qualities - which makes them a very difficult adversary."
