I'd like to play for a big club - SilvioDefender sets personal goals Rio Ave's Silvio has set his sights on bigger and better things as the full-back has expressed his desire to play for one of Portugal's big three.
The 22-year-old versatile defender, who has been linked with Sporting recently. told Lusa that one day he would like to make the jump to any one of Portugal's more recognised clubs as he feels it would provide the necessary exposure to make the national team. "To reach the national team is an objective that I have and it would be much easier to do so playing for Sporting rather than Rio Ave," said the former Benfica youth product. "It is an honour to know that Sporting are thinking about me, but the only thing that I know is what has been printed in the newspapers." Add your comment |
