Sporting sign Miguel Angel Angulo

Spanish international adds to attacking options

Miguel Angel AnguloAttacking midfielder Miguel Angel Angulo has signed for Sporting. The 32-year-old attacking midfielder, who has played for Valencia for 14 years, undertook medical exams before signing a contract this Sunday.

Just two days after the departure of Fabio Rochemback, Sporting coach Paulo Bento will be relieved to have bolstered his squad.

Angulo won two La Liga championships, two Spanish Cups, a UEFA Cup and a European Super Cup for Valencia.

However, the former Spain international has seen little first-team action in the last two seasons at the Mestalla stadium.

This guy is old why would Sporting purchase this player. It's nice to see he has won everything in Spain but would he really be a big factor of the team? Paulo Bento could regret this.
