He has loads of pace which is something Sporting's attack has been lacking this season and he has a pretty decent goalscoring record, especially in his time at Recreativo where he looked like he was really fulfilling his potential.
At Atletico it was never going to be easy competing with Kun, Forlan, Simao & Maxi so his career has stalled somewhat but this is a pretty decent coup for Sporting because he could of easily have gone to a stronger league like back home in France where he still has a pretty good reputation.
