Jorge Jesus: "I am only thinking of winning"

Sporting Braga have reached the last sixteen of the Uefa Cup and want to reach the quarter-finals of the competition, but must first get past Paris Saint-Germain in order to do that. For Braga coach Jorge Jesus the feat is not impossible as the Portuguese tactician is confident his side will get a good result in the French capital

The first leg of the tie will take place at the Parc des Princes and Jesus feels that his team are more than capable of scoring goals in the Ligue 1 side's home stadium. The Braga boss reminds everyone that his team have scored in almost every stadium they have played in and that tonight should be no different.

"In these types of ties the goals make all the difference. As a result, to score a goal away is very important. We have scored goals in all of our previous matches, with the exception of Milan. Tomorrow (today) we will try to show that our value as a team is validated."

"I am only thinking about winning and I have passed this onto my players. Is a draw good? Yes, a draw or a victory are results that interest us," claimed the Braga coach.

Le Guen compliment

On the other side of the field, PSG coach Paul Le Guen is not surprised of Braga's accomplishments as the former Lyon boss had nothing but praise for his Portuguese opponents.

"We have watched some videos from the Uefa Cup and matches from the championship, namely their 3-2 win against Sporting. They qualified against Standard Liege and are having a good domestic campaign. They are organised and have a good mixture between technique and athleticism."

"They are a solid team. They have good attackers, but I think one of them will be missing (Meyong). They have Renteria and a lot of good players in every sector of the field. They also have a very sure goalkeeper (Eduardo). They are a well-balanced team," stated Le Guen.
