Who would have een blamed had Portugal not won? Ok Ronaldo had a horrible second alf and defends like a girl and was looking at his feet when the National Anthem was being played. People who love there country should mention more the fact the captain of the national team couldn't be bothered singing the National Anthem. Many people should watch the game more and think less about their clubs. Coentrao named as player of the game by one person. What planet do you live on? He was beaten easily time and time again. J Perreira was average. People beat up on Patricio a lot. I'mnot a fan and never have been but then we've gotEduardo (who I like on the bench) with basically no playing time this season so he can't expect to be even close to starting and Beto who plays in a third class league. People beat up Postiga cos of his finishing. Only the 6th player to score in three European championships and has a better goal per game rate than Ronaldo. Postiga works so bloody hard off the ball that its impossible to see on television. I think I read today that he ran more than any other player in the first 8 games of this years Championship. When you have Ronaldo not tracking back its good to see Postiga who hasn't the obvious talent of Ronaldo but works a lot harder on the pitch to justify his place. Andhis goal was pretty tasty. Nani givesit everything. Probably the difference between the teams. Nelson Oliveira is not bad but is not a game changer.. Hasn't had enough experience yet. Paulo Bento would have been slammed if they had been lost and yet.. he is now a tactical Genius. And the comment that Varela's goal in the previous article about it being a lucky goal. It was a class finish to win any game. Thank god he came up with the goods that probably kept Portugal in the Euro Champs.. Some comments about taking out Ronaldo are ridiculous. He was pants today but there is something that happened before the game I imagine. Portugal may ne3ed some changes but ROnaldo will never be benched.. Bento doesn't realise it but unfortunately itsRonaldo who makes the calls.. or will when Bento makes his final mistake..
