Custodio could be the key |

As I mentioned in a previous article, I wouldn't be surprised if Bento decided to use Custodio instead of Miguel Veloso. Veloso is a quality player at his best, but he lacks the tactical discipline of Custodio. In his short cameo against Turkey, Custodio looked very comfortable in possession, making 3 or4 excellent cross-field passes in the process.
I've watched him play many times for Braga, and he has always impressed. Unlike Veloso, he rarely loses the ball in dangerous areas of the field. He is also much better defensively than Veloso. He can pass just as well, and he is a big threat in the air, which will come in handy against the Germans.
