I like how Real still had over half of their mains starting players and one of the top and most expensive benches in the sport and our team and our new/bench players dominated at all levels.
No team out side of barca have beat Real this badly in years. Look at all their past pre-seasons and top sides they've faced and no one comes close to how badly we dominated them.
Great win for our club and great for our liga to have various internal papers stating that a Portuguese side thrashed one of the top teams in the world.
As for our players we have a good problem of having so many great mid-fielders to pick from. Martins is back and better then ever. Our wings have never seen so much quality depth.
As for Melgarejo, I'm not fully sold on him as a lb but this kid is showing amazing promise and he's improving a little bit each game. While he's not the greatest lb, he's better then Emerson and as we saw yesterday, having him run up the wings completely threw off Real's players as we have so many guys with offensive capabilities coming at them.
Now that we're done owning La Liga Champs, it's off to facing Serie A's Champs in a few days. From the top French teams we've faced, Figo's World All Star team, Real, and now upcoming with Juvi, this has been an outstanding pre-season to give our guys great experience and bring several high profile matches to help show the level of quality in our liga.
