Liga Sagres: Summer Transfer ActionClubs tuning up ahead of pre-season training
Liga returnees Leiria are suring up their back four with the inclusion of Batista. The ex-Guarantingueta defender will be in his second spell in Portugal as the 27-year-old represented Penafiel in 2004/05. The club had to beat off Pacos de Ferreira for the stopper's signature as they get much needed coverage in defence. Terms of neither deal were disclosed by the club. After their impressive campaign last season, Nacional will look to build on their 4th-place finish with the inclusion of Brazilian goalkeeper Elisson. The 22-year-old 'keeper was on loan to Rio Branco de Minas Gerais via Cruzeiro last season and will act as a back-up to current net-minder Bracalli. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. After securing Nuno Assis, Guimaraes have solidified their first recruit under Nelo Vingada as the club announced the capture of midfielder Rui Miguel. The player who was on loan with Pacos de Ferreira last season via Polish side Zaglebie Lubin will be officially presented to the media later this afternoon. Add your comment |
