Unprecedented feat for a Portuguese in Romania

This past Saturday saw one of the many Portuguese players plying their trade in Romania achieve a noteworthy feat. Midfielder Hugo Moutinho scored a hat-trick for second-division side, FC Drobeta. It was the first time a Portuguese had ever scored a hat-trick in an official match in the Eastern European country.

The three goals proved decisive as Drobeta beat Muresul Deva 3-2 away, thus moving up to third place in their quest to win promotion to the top flight. PortuGOAL caught up with Hugo Moutinho, cousin of Sporting captain Joao Moutinho, to find out more. >>
