Estrela da Amadora 2-2 Sporting
The opening match of the 2026/27 Primeira Liga played at the Estádio José Gomes proved an entertaining affair as Estrela and Sporting shared four goals.
The visitors were well on top in the first half but could not convert any of the multiple chances they created.
Things were different after the break and goals by Rodrigo Zalazar and Fotis Ioannidis seemed to have set Sporting on their way to victory.
The hosts roared back however, with goals by Leandro Antonetti and Beni Souza resulting in a 2-2 draw.
